Cash Bandits 2 Slots

Cash Bandits 2 is a 5-reel, 25-line slot that's based on a bank heist. It's a sequel to Realtime Gaming's Cash Bandits, which deals with the same subject.

Apparently the robber must have gotten away the first time, because he's looting yet another bank. Is his second big caper just as good as the first? You can find out by reading this Cash Bandits 2 review, which covers the graphics, symbols, features, betting options, and return to player (RTP).

Cops, Robbers, Donuts & More

This game takes place outside of a bank that the bandit is targeting. This setting is a bit different from the first game, which took place inside of a bank. The background shows two large-building columns, a city in the distance, and cash bursting out from behind the reels.

Symbols include the bandit, a game logo, cop, screaming bank teller, bank, key, badge, wanted poster, alarm, cash, moneybag, coffee & donuts, and handcuffs. The game logo pays the most, offering 7,500x the line bet for five symbols. The cop offers the second most, delivering 2,000x for five icons.

Also note that the game logo is a wild symbol that substitutes for all other icons except the robber to form wins. It can expand to fill an entire reel as well.

The cartoonish graphics are above average. They do a good job of creating a fun, light-hearted theme. However, they're not overly impressive. The background is adequate, although we like how the first game happened inside of a bank.

Cash Bandits 2 Slots Special Features - Vault Feature Returns

You trigger a Vault Feature when landing three or more bandit scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. If you played the first game, you may be very familiar with the Vault Feature.

It's mostly the same in Cash Bandits 2. You're taken to a screen with five vaults and a 10-digit keypad. Each vault requires a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5-digit code to unlock it. Inside each vault are free spins and multiplier boosters.

The amount of numbers you get to select with each vault vary based on the amount of triggering scatters. Three, four, and five scatters give you the ability to select 5, 6, and 8 numbers, respectively.

The bandit offers scatter payouts worth a multiple of your total wager. You receive 50x your bet for five symbols, 20x for four, and 2x for three.

This game has two progressive jackpots, including a Major and Minor payout. The Major jackpot, which is always reset to $1,000, is worth over $2,400 at the time of this writing. Both progressive prizes can be won randomly at the conclusion of any spin.

Betting & Gameplay Options

Betting options include the ability to change paylines from 1-25 and coin size from $0.01 to $0.25. This makes for a total betting range of one cent to $6.25 per spin.

Auto play allows you to make the reels spin automatically with your betting options in place. Cash Bandits 2 gives you several settings for stopping the auto play feature early.

Cash Bandits 2 RTP & Volatility

The RTP for this slot is unknown. We guess that it ranges around 95% RTP, which is in line with what many other internet slots. The volatility seemed low in our experiences, because we were able to collect a large number of small payouts.

Cash Bandits 2 Slots Definitely Cracks the Code

This game rates well in a number of areas, including its features, theme, and betting options. We like that RTG brought the popular Vault Feature back. We also appreciate having the chance to play for two progressive jackpots and scatter payouts.

The only downsides to this game include a mediocre background and no publicly available RTP. The background isn't terrible, but it doesn't quite match what the first game offered. We'd also like to know what this game pays out over the long run.

Despite the drawbacks, Cash Bandits 2 is definitely a worthy sequel to the first game. It's also worthy of trying a few times, especially if you've played and enjoyed the first slot.
